Jam was founded in 2020 to make bug reporting faster for people and AI agents.

Software teams at companies such as Ramp, Drata, Perplexity, ElevenLabs, and Autodesk use Jam to capture clear bug reports with the context developers need. Jam is backed by early investors from Apple, GitHub, Slack, Cloudflare, and PagerDuty, with institutional investors including Union Square Ventures, BoxGroup, Version One Ventures, and Village Global.
