# Run Jam on Local Files

You can now use Jam to share feedback with annotations on any file type, JPG, PDF, HTML, etc - just open it in your browser and start Jamming.&#x20;

To get started, all you have to do is enable file access from your browser’s extension settings.

1. Enter "chrome://extensions" in your URL bar and hit enter. This will take you to a page that will show you all the chrome extensions that are installed on your browser.
2. Click on the 'Details' button for the Jam chrome extension.\

3. Under the section 'Allow access to file URLs', click on the toggle to enable the setting<br>
