# Video Annotations

> Draw on screen during a recording to point out exactly what's broken.

Easily highlight key details in your video recordings using annotations, and help engineers quickly understand the issue you're reporting.

  The draw feature is available on all paid plans. You can also try the feature for free 3 times.

Here's how to draw on your video recording:

1. Select tab or desktop recording from Jam extension
2. While recording is in progress you can select the draw tool and start drawing.

   <Note>Added shapes will automatically fade away after 3 seconds.</Note>

  Video cannot be annotated after recording, only during the recording.
</Info>
