How to save console logs to file in Chrome
Looking to save console logs to share with your developers?
The easy way is to use the Jam extension. In one click you get a link you can share that includes all the console logs & network requests your engineers need.
If you want to do it the old & manual way, here’s how in 4 steps:
1. Go to the page of your choice and open Developer Tools pressing on Control+Shift+I (for Windows & Linux) or Command+Option+I (for Mac).
2. The panel will open in either the ‘Console’ or ‘Elements’ tab.
3. Click on the ‘Console’ tab (Figure 1).
4. In the logs area, right-click and then press on ‘Save as’ to save to a file (Figure 2).
And if you prefer to have your console logs automatically saved for you, let Jam do it for you.
